Changing Text size

Is the text size too large or too small?

Change your text settings through your browser options

In Internet Explorer, go to View > Text size and select your desired text size setting (eg. larger, smaller); in Netscape browsers or in Safari on Mac go to View > Text size. Select a larger or smaller ‘percentage’ or click on ‘larger’ (or ‘smaller’) to go one size up or down.

If the text size is still not large enough, visit the RNIB website for information on enlarging text.

  • 2) Go to ‘Tools’ at the top of the browser and select ‘Internet Options’.
  • 3) Click on the ‘General’ tab and then the ‘Accessibility’ button, bottom right.

Mozilla Firefox

  • 2) Go to ‘Tools’ at the top of the browser and select ‘Options’.
  • 3) Click on ‘Fonts and colours’ button in the ‘General’ area.
  • 4) Ensure ‘Text’ & ‘Background’ colours are black and white respectively.
  • 5) Tick the ‘Colors’ checkbox (next to ‘Always use my:’).
Note: Font size & style can also be customised in this area.
