Once your Equity Release plan has been agreed by yourself and the plan provider, you can expect to see the money. Typically, it takes between four and six weeks between making your application and the day that your money arrives. Usually, it is paid by the plan provider to you via your solicitor.

With either a Lifetime Mortgage or Home Reversion plan, it might be possible for you to raise more cash from your property at some point in the future.
